About Flyghtwood
Flyghtwood is a 32-acre Sports Life and Leadership Campus in Trotwood, OH, owned by retired NBA player, Chris “Flyght” Wright. The land was once owned by Bishop Wright, Orbal and Wilbur Wright’s father, and their mission was “Where Dreams Take Flight”. Chris Wright’s vision is to revitalize the land back to its original use which will include sports and recreation facilities, outdoor fields, educational classrooms, fitness nature trails, a community pool, and an outdoor entertainment space with food and pop-up shops.
Phase 1: Universal 1 Flyght Dome (50,000 sq. ft.) OPENING THIS FALL
Phase 2: Flyght Academic Center (10,000 sq ft.) with classrooms, conference centers, locker rooms, concessions, and lease-able space.
Phase 3: Flyghtwood Landings an outdoor entertainment space with food trucks, entrepreneur popups, and a pavilion.
Phase 4: Outdoor fields and fitness trails
Phase 5: Pool and Splash Pad
